At first, this might sound gross, but it isn’t! Many of us are unaware of the food that we waste every day that can still be used for something else. Try using stale bread for breadcrumbs or make your own croutons. If you cook with fresh meat, you can use the bones for stock. If you want to get even more creative, try putting banana peels in your garden. Banana peels have a ton of nutrients and will help enrich your soil; awesome!
